Welcome to Life Like You Mean It Education! I’m Lisa Gustafsson, and I am a qualified teacher with 11 years experience in Science and Biology education. I work with children from year 7 through to and including A Level.
My goal is to empower my students to discover their strengths and build their confidence. For my private and small group live tutoring sessions, I take the time to understand the best ways my students learn. This provides them the opportunity to explore their learning style in my lessons. In pre-recorded courses, I work diligently to create engaging resources that students will find interesting.
In doing this, not only do those students learn more easily, retaining the information they have learned, but they gain insight into their strengths which they can use in their future endeavours.
Six years ago, I left the classroom to work with students on a more 1:1 basis as I recognised the limitation I was experiencing in meeting their learning needs in large classrooms. Since 2018 I have been educating and tutoring students online, either in small groups of up to 8, or individually. More recently, I have created my Biology pre-recorded courses for home-educated students earning their IGCSE or IAL in Edexcel.
I have experience with AQA, OCR, and Edexcel exam boards, as well as with GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level and IAL programs.
